How is everybody enjoying the warmer weather? I have been laying low for the last few months with the several family vacations we had planned in March and April, but now I am back to baking and I was able to squeeze in a few new recipes that I can't wait to share with you guys!
You guys know how much I love to be part of your events! At the end of April I was able to help a friend celebrate their 50th birthday with cupcakes! It was so much fun seeing all the people arriving to celebrate with him. There were 4 different kinds of cupcakes: Cookies and Cream, Orange Creamsicle, Cookie dough, and Red Velvet. If you have any upcoming celebrations that need sweet treats let me know. I would love to help!
Let's see what's new!
1st up we have Cherry Pie Cups, it's a mini sugar cookie cup filled with homemade cherry pie filling. 1 dozen for $24
2nd we have a Blackberry Lemon Sweet Roll. Sweet dough filled with blackberries and lemon zest topped with a lemon glaze. 1 pan (4 count) $15.
May is Mental Health Awareness Month
Mental Health is something we should all be working to understand more. Even if you are lucky enough to not have metal health issues it is likely someone you know does. This month take some time to reach out to people you haven't heard from or just check in on your friends. Take a few moments to learn about resources that are around you incase someone you know ever needs the information. This months charity is Johnson County Suicide Prevention Coalition. "The Johnson County Suicide Prevention Coalition saves and supports life, with our community partners, through awareness, education and outreach." 10% of sales will go to this charity at the end of the month.
