It's almost time for cupcakes! "Cupcakes for Dad" is a fundraiser I started in 2017 after my father passed away from Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD) with ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease). Bringing awareness to FTD, a disease that most medical professionals had not heard of or experienced at the time was very important to me. It was the biggest struggle I had faced with my father and I didn't want other people to face that same struggle. This fundraiser was started to celebrate my fathers birthday in October, bring awareness to the people who order my delicious cupcakes and to raise money for the Association of Frontotemporal Degeneration (AFTD), who continue to support and provide services to those families who are suffering from this horrible disease.
